Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 10 "18 Miles Out"
I feel even more strongly than before that Shane's gots to go. And by gots to go I mean having Rick shoot him in the face. From what they showed in the preview for next week's episode he is still ready to kill Rick. Did you notice Daryl will be in next week's episode? Where was my man this week? I need me some more Daryl. Now, let's talk about zombies.
Two zombie cops
Both Rick and Shane made a point of stating that neither of those cops/security guards had any bites, just scratches. Now, I've never read the graphic novels so I don't know if they mention if the disease can be spread by scratches. In my mind scratches would seem just as dangerous as bites. I would also think any contact with zombie blood into your system (eyes, mouth, wounds, etc.) could cause you to become zombified. Does this mean that Shane is infected since he used the same knife to kill one of the guards and then to slice his hand to attract zombies?
Rick and Shane talk and then beat the crap out of each other
I would like to know if anybody believes Shane when he told Rick he had never looked at Laurie before the zombiepocalypse. I don't. You can blame their hook up on circumstances (I'm more prone to believe that might be true for Laurie) but I think Shane has had a thing for Laurie for a long time. Did they have to have the talk out in the middle of a crossroad? Couldn't they just talk in the car since Randall had earphones taped to his head? I suppose it was done symbolically (the two characters are at a crossroad in their relationship) but it might have had more impact if they had stayed in the car during their bizarro road trip. While I'm glad that Rick and Shane duked it out in the middle of an abandoned (sort of) municipal works parking lot it didn't result in an actual resolution of their problem.
Back home on the most boring farm ever
So one of Hershel's daughters wants so commit suicide and Andrea lets her. My question is, why hasn't anyone shot Andrea yet? The only storyline she gets is to talk about how her choice to commit suicide was taken away from her by Dale. BTW Andrea, the fact that you chose to live means you had a choice. No one took anything away from her. I vote that Daryl shoots her for being an idiot and for shooting him by accident earlier this season.
Don't forget to vote in the poll.

Introduction
This blog is my opinion on tv shows, movies, and books dealing with the supernatural, fantasy, horror and sci fi genre. I will start with the AMC show The Walking Dead. Feel free to share your thoughts on the subject. Put a spoiler warning if you feel like sharing insider knowledge. Let's talk about zombies.
